I am not been impressed with this lake or the camping. The water is very dirty and low and the camping spots are very small and have quite a steep slope behind them, causing crowding. The first time we stayed there thieves and vandals caused issues while we were down by the water, which is very far from the sites. Wanting to give it another chance we went again. This time we had to call the sheriff on some very intoxicated individuals who started a fight. No thanks to the Sheriff himself as he was very rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to listen to anything. Needless to say, we will never return!
Nice lake. Water is a little low but not as bad as some of the other local lakes. Had a good day fishing from the shore here. Not much shade cover so bring the sunscreen.
