From McCammon, cross over I-15 and go west about a mile. The road will fork here to the north and south; take the south or left fork and travel about a quarter mile. Take a right onto the Goodenoug Creek Access Road. Continue about 2 miles to the campground.
A wonderful place to camp! Beautiful scenery, secluded tent sites, clean bathrooms, and only 20 minutes away from Lava Hot Springs. There's no water and trash so you'll have to pack that in. Limited cell service. T-Mobile has service but sprint doesn't.
Beautiful free campsite! We stopped here on our drive between Grand Teton/Yellowstone National Parks and Salt Lake City. Arrive by mid-afternoon to get a spot. If all the main RV/tent sites are taken, try driving down the dirt road for additional tent sites. We stayed one night in each area of the campground in a campervan. Both had picnic tables, fire pits, and access to restrooms.
Really nice clean campground. Not a lot of traffic; and quiet at night, except for the sound of the creek.
Quiet campsite, flat rv spots. Nice views and good access to hiking and atv trails. Disgustingly, some prior campers decided they couldn’t make the short walk down the hill to the toilet and ruined a perfect hammock spot right in the campsite. Imbeciles.
Free. Pack in, pack out!! Keep it clean and behave here, this is a blessing. Small campground with 3 spots at the front and 6-8 spots in the back. Fire rings, nice size spaces, picnic tables, vault toilet, shade trees. Variety of birds, butterflies, snakes, rodents, mammals, etc. Stayed 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Pilot close by for gas, snacks, etc. Family Dollar further in town. Had verizon 3 bars of service. Peaceful place. Great for dirt bike riding the hills!
