One of the coolest places I’ve been to in Idaho. I have lived in the state for many years and continue to find new places that make me want to never leave.
This is ideally, what people think of when they say that Idaho is full of hidden gems.
If you found my post….you have found I have a another gem.

We drove out here to see the Canyon overlook and were happy we did. The views out here in what can be called the middle of nowhere are awesome. One can just view the canyon from the overlook or go down a few of the trails that are marked.
There were bathrooms as well as a small clean parking lot. We had the place to ourselves the entire two hours we were there. Definitely not a high traffic zone.
It was very nice. The gravel road was about 8 miles then you end up at the overlook. It was very nice and well maintained. There is sunflowers on the way there. The view is amazing. Wish we had time to go down the valley. We saw lizards and a rattlesnake so watch your . Have fun enjoy .
