Beautiful scenery and quite atmosphere. Fishing in the bigwood is great even with just a worm😁.
Only 2 bad things, dirt is really dirty. Some sites closer to the water needs more shade. Other then that we always have a good time there.
Loved this place! For a free almost roadside riverfront camping this was an amazing find!
Relatively quiet (there was minor road noise even though we stayed as far from the highway as possible) with fire rings and several pull-thru type spots that suited our needs perfectly. The vault toilets were some of the cleanest we’ve seen anywhere and the sights were clean as well. There was a “Camp Host” on site, however we did not have any interaction with them as we only stayed one night. No trash facility, no fresh water, no dump site and yet you still get so much more than you pay for!
