Head west on Hwy 16 toward Carthage. We are located on the right behind the shell station.
Absolutely the biggest dump I've ever seen, No management ever around, arrived with no assistance on which spots would accommodate our larger r.v.. took us 3 tries before we found a site that hookups worked. Crackheads everywhere! Gunshots all night long. Bathrooms had feces everywhere! When finally talked to someone by name of Carol she reaked off B.O. and booze and was completely rude and of no help. Avoid this dump at all cost!
Nice park, needs to be updated majorly. New picnic tables, new grills at each site. Could really use some lighting at each site also. With the woods on the back, it's a little too dark when coming in by yourself at night.
Made quick request by phone for a 2 night stay. Used money drop box outside office. Everything worked fine. Management office was never open, but they have a very sweet couple camping next to the office that are their to assist you with any questions or needs. Gentleman even cut a limb upon our request to give our RV more room. They look after things when the office isn't open. We would stay again.
Very nice staff! Sites are all concrete drive throughs. Easy hook ups. Very clean. Laundry room is nice and clean . Easy access off main traffic.
Been on the road 6,700 mi so far this summer. Stayed at pretty much different RV parks every night. This is the best park we have stayed at so far. Best owners. Best sites. Best rates. Best internet. What can I say, this is just the best place we stayed at all summer! The reason for the funny name is because that is the name of the road it is on!
