Fuel prices are high. Convenience store items are high. Ripping off truckers and other travelers daily.
No alcohol due to local laws, but the staff and food selection is fantastic!
I gave two stars because the parking lot is disgusting. The parking lot is decorated with used needles, and people living in broken down cars with flat tires. (See photos)
I’m not talking about the occasional van lifer or full-time RV retired couple who spends the night; I’m seeing permanent residents that aren’t driving anywhere because they have a flat and an engine that barely starts!
We slept in the car here on the way back from Yellowstone because we couldn't find a lodging that allowed dogs. Not much to complain about except that there's no food joint attached. We had to drive to nearby fast food restaurants and come back.
Absolutely loved this Flying J - the staff was extraordinarily friendly!! This place also has a ladies only shower and that's a game changer! The water pressure was spot on and the shower was so hot! Best shower I have ever had on the road!!
This is a very nice truck stop where you can get cheap gas, good food and some sleep if you are tired from a long day of traveling. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Showers are available as well as laundry service. Conveniently located near many travel destinations such as devil's tower, crazy horse, mount rushmore and others. We very much appreciated the ability to get some sleep and it was busy but not to noisy. Food was delicious and affordable.
