Nice campground. Well managed. Quiet nights and clean facilities. Good location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Short drive from Eureka Springs. If you’re there for MTB, Lake Leatherwood gravity trail parking if 5 min by bike. Would go back anytime.
Went camping in a cabin here and ended up with bed bugs. Friend who stayed with us also brought them home. Has cost us well over 2000 dollars and two treatments and we are still dealing with them months later. I called them to let them as soon as we found out and got a swift "okay thanks bye". The lady on the phone did not even ask for the cabin number which really surprised me. The lack of concern is worrying.
A $80 cabin night trip is not worth this pain, don't be us or at least triple check your cabins.
Super clean bathrooms and laundry. Nice quiet and shady setting. Media/game room was really nice. Pool looked great. Friendly and helpful.check in. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful location. The roads leading to the area in general are rough. Very friendly manager. Beautiful grounds. Tons of festive fall decor! Walking trail was beautiful-absolutley loved that part. Nice clean dog park. The bathrooms were extremely clean and laundry room as well. The store was very stocked and had alot of shoppers in it. The sight was perfect. Beautiful firepit customized for the city too. No wifi. Cable with cord worked out, bring one! They also sell them in the office. Took awhile to get all that figured out. Downside was all the bikers not obiding to quiet hours and starting their bikes EARLY am to leave on rides. Thin walls of RVs def wake you as well as dogs. Dumpsters located closely. Great place to stay! Could have easily stayed longer !
Camped at Eureka Springs KOA Journey, in a travel trailer, September 2023. Check in was quick and easy. Management and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site. Stayed at site 53 which looks like a pull through site on the map, but we opted to back out of the site when we left due the radical exit decline slope. We were afraid of scraping our trailer bumper as the decline leveled out at the bottom of the hill. The park map looks like a straight forward layout, BUT, the map does not show the the park is built into the side of a mountain. The roadways and sites have wicked inclines and descents, making navigation in the park a bit confusing and even difficult. Sites are gravel and rock. Roadways are gravel, rock, and busted asphalt. Motorcycle noise, inside the park as well as from the adjacent road made our visit not as pleasant as we had hoped. Neighboring campers mentioned that there was a motorcycle event in the area going on. As this was not the fault of the park staff or management, it still affects our star rating. Laundry room was clean and functional, pleasant to use. Beware of the radical incline from the roadway to the park entrance which shows evidence of many rigs bumpers gouging the pavement.
