Beautiful experience, quite and relaxing, perfect for the family, not crowded at all, free camping, which your rarely see, trails, old homesteads to hike too, walk to the Buffalo River. Just a absolutely tranquility for my families getaway weekend

Simple and basic. Appreciated the quiet, restrooms and price. But the river was too low to enjoy it much. Not much of a view or reason to stay here otherwise.

This is a free national riverway limited campground very close to the river with basic campground facilities no flush toilets. But the idea that you could camp free so close along the river was just awesome. This is a rare area along the Buffalo River where you can actually bike up River, drop off your vehicle, and kayak back to the campground for about a half hour float, or longer if you want to kayak upstream. There is a low water bridge that crosses the river about a mile upstream of the campground near the old town of Erbie. The kayaking was really fun even in low water and was a great experience.

Amazing place. There is an old homestead you can walk through. We camped at Erbie and floated. We walked down two trails. One went to the homestead. The other leads to the river. The homestead trail will also take you to the river.

No glass containers on the river, rangers are out and give tickets. there are bathrooms, but there is no running water. Bring your own toilet paper and trash bags. You have to bring all your trash out when you leave.
