This is where all the folks who were permanently injured from whitewater rafting stay. What a noble place
I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know that this is the best RV park I have ever been to. I have lived there for a while and I LOVE it there! Owner and staff are awesome! The location, cost and maintenance of this park is stellar!!!
The park was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to downtown and most of the tourists attractions.
My only complaint would be that they REALLY need to weed eat between sites. The grass was almost knee high.
Nice friendly staff. Walking distance to town but Cripple Creek has free shuttle service. Not the most attractive RV Park. Warning we were going to stay three nights but we both got altitude sickness due to the elevation (almost 9500 feet) so we left a day early. We paid for three nights when we arrived not knowing they would NOT refund any nights if you check out early. Live and learn.
Very clean place to do laundry, which is open to the public. $3.50/machine, call before to check times. Usually not busy which is nice too. Bring cash; quarter machine available inside office along with other snacks/shopping.
