My children just got back from their second year at Camp Granite Lake, and they won't stop talking about how great it was. They have already been in touch with new friends they made, and the stories about the counselors have given me even more comfort that they spent the last 3 weeks in great hands. I'm hearing stories about everything from backpacking trips to learning about nuclear fusion... I can't imagine a better experience for them and I cannot say enough great things about how the camp is run and the fantastic team at Camp Granite Lake. Thanks so much for taking great care of my kids, providing the daily photos showing their amazing smiles, and teaching them to be great friends and great young people!
My daughter had the most amazing experience at Camp Granite Lake. She’s been begging me to send her to sleepaway camp for a few years, but I was hesitant. Now I wish that I had send her when she first asked. Her confidence grew leaps and bounds while at camp. The staff is amazing, and the activities were incredibly fun. She can’t wait to go back next year; and we’re sending her younger brother too!
Our 8 year old never attended sleep away camp before she went to the one week mini-camp last summer. The first thing she did when we picked her up was BEG us to sign her up for a full session next summer (we did). She loved the activities (especially kayaking on the lake and archery), the new friends she made, songs they learned, and even the food (she proudly told us of all the new foods she tried). We love how inclusive the staff is, the just-have-fun classic summer camp vibe, and gorgeous yet accessible location. I only wish they offered a family camp session!
My son attended Camp Granite Lake in the summer of 2023 and had a great time. He had never been to an away camp before and not only was he gone for 3 weeks, it was in a different State! The staff were amazing and reassuring and he had the best time. He’s already signed up for next year!
I signed up my kiddos for a week at Camp Granite Lake and I was getting nervous for my little one to be away from home for 5 days straight. After the kids came back from camp, they could not stop raving about all the exciting activities they participated in and all the new friends they made. They loved the food, the camaraderie, all the fun art projects and games in the forest, and really enjoyed getting to know their counselors and bunk mates. I highly recommend this camp to everyone!
