Great location for a family gathering! The building is an old hotel/resort but has niclce character. While rooms were dated, and beds soft, the solid construction and heavy door kept the rooms quiet and private. We had a good time enjoying the property and finding all the "hidden" stairways.

This bed & breakfast was wonderful! Linda, Joan, Janice, and Rich were so warm, welcoming and attentive to all my needs. The inn was a perfect retreat from my hectic life. There are books, dvds, a pool, jacuzzi, whole exercise studio—perfect place to unplug. The space was very neat and my bedroom comfy! Stroudsburg is a lovely town to visit (15 min away). A solid 3 mile hike is close by as well—the Delaware Water Gap Recreational. I highly suggest you visit :) thanks for the stay!

We stayed here on a ski trip with my extended family and had a great time. Joan, Rich and Janice were all warm, friendly and super accommodating. The place had more than enough space to comfortably house our group of about 20 (and the full bathrooms in each bedroom were a huge plus). The place is conveniently located close to several ski mountains (including less than 10 minutes away from Shawnee). Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently and we really loved our experience! Everyone was very sweet and welcoming, and the lounges and grounds were well taken care of and cozy. Having breakfast in the morning was a great perk, and everything was very clean on the premises, including the sauna, which was a perk. The inn resides in a historic building, so if you are looking for a super modern-style lodging this might not be the best fit. But if you like the charm of historic buildings and you are looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway this would be a great option. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!

My husband and I visited the Poconos for a two night stay for our anniversary and decided to stay at the Deerfield Inn. Linda, the host, was so pleasant and kind upon arrival and throughout our stay. We enjoyed all the extra spaces the inn provided, like the porch, and living room areas to just relax after our long days hiking. We got the specials for breakfast each morning and they were delicious! The inn was quaint, comfortable, and Linda made you feel right at home!
