This is a four miles hike out and back, moderate easy to get down to the creek, but steep way back, we park in the ranch, they charge $5 por person, but we see free parking ahead, it is very crowded in weekends, so if you want or enjoy but by yourself meet to get very early, don’t live trash behind like others.
The trail going in to the creek it's easy, all down hill, the way back just the first part is the hardest, if you return in the afternoon you will find several shadow spots to rest along the way (summer time). We entered through Bowen ranch road and paid 5 dollars per person in Bowen ranch near the camping site. This allow us to enter in to a private property and park closer, totally worth it. I took 2 litter bladder back pack and that was enough for the round trip.
worth the hike and enduring the cold temperature water in order to get across to the hot springs. It's a Tough hike back out keep to the lower path it's a bit easier then to hike the top side. Follow the blue flags. Have fun
It was easy to arrive when following the website directions. Any car should be able to get there safe. They also have a lot of signs that helped. When at the Campground, Bret welcomed us. He was very nice and explained us how to get to the hot springs. He offered complementary water.
I loved the springs. It's an oasis. The hike is a little challenging in some parts, but mostly easy to keep up.
Will defenetly come back to camp!
My friend and I stayed here for a Saturday night. We spent Saturday and Sunday at the hot springs hiking in and out each day. The staff at the entrance were extremely friendly and welcoming. They took their time to explain the route to the springs to us thoroughly and were very helpful when we thought our dog had been bitten by a snake. I am plan to return in a few weeks with another friend because I had a great time there 😊 they also sell firewood and have a small breakfast menu if you order the night before!
