Trail from this trailhead pass through stands of large, old-growth Douglas fir. **Provides access to:**[Cripple Camp Trail #1435](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/umpqua/recarea/?recid=63812), which accesses [Pup Prairie Trail #1434](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/umpqua/recarea/?recid=63846), [Acker Divide Trail #1437](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/umpqua/recarea/?recid=63770) and Cripple Camp Shelter. These trails are within [Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/umpqua/recreation/recarea/?recid=63386). **Accessibility:** From the trailhead, flat trail grades provide an accessible opportunity into Wilderness. Some persons with disabilities may need assistance, assistance is recommended.

Directions

From Canyonville, OR, take west 1st Street and turn onto southeast 3rd Street / OR-227.  Continue to follow OR-227 approximately 23 miles until you reach Tiller, OR.

From Tiller, OR, take County Road 46 to Forest Road 29 (Jackson Creek Road).  Follow Forest Road 29 to Forest Road 2947.  Take Forest Road 2947 to Forest Road 2947-400. Take the right hand fork or Forest Road 2947-400 to the Cripple Camp Trailhead, approximately 28 miles from Tiller.
