We were so lucky to have had our small wedding on site last September and it was the most magical weekend surrounded by our dearest family and friends.
It’s the perfect place for friends and family to gather; whether it be a weekend camping trip, family reunion, private retreat or the solo traveler passing through looking for a place to experience the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My family of 4 enjoys unique experiences and after hearing a number of amazing things from friends about the beauty of the Columbia George area we decided to visit. We typically stay in hotels when we travel, but prefer to camp when possible, so this was perfect since we didn’t want to fly with our camping gear. We stayed in two amazingly cozy and comfortable belle tents, they had actual beds! Glamping dreams come true for my wife. My kids enjoyed the property, they loved the kids playground area. We had a great time doing local hikes, exploring the multiple small towns nearby and looking up at the stars at night, wow, the stars. I don’t normally write reviews, but there was something very special about this property and the staff that works there, so I had to do it. We can’t wait to go back.
Wow, what a fun and relaxing time. Our family enjoyed two nights camping at Columbia George Getaways earlier this month and absolutely loved it. The kids had so much fun in the playground and exploring the grounds. We enjoyed beautiful hiking and soaking in the summer nights under the stars. It was so nice to have the amenities/bathrooms/tables/chairs… we will definitely be back! Thank you CGG for our wonderful stay!
Our family stayed here over the weekend of the Perseids meteor shower and it did not disappoint. The upper lawn area offered gorgeous views during the day and at night, dark, spectacular conditions to see the stars. Our 2 children enjoyed exploring the forested area and playing in the "log yard", and we really enjoyed getting to know the family members of this family-run getaway. Everyone was so welcoming and gracious, and we will definitely be back! What a great slice of the outdoors.
Our family has had the privilege of enjoying Columbia Gorge Getaways on three separate occasions and each time was a joyous and exceptional experience. Our first time staying was for a friend's wedding. Everything was perfect from start to finish and hands down one of the best weddings we have been to from the stunning Ceremony site overlooking the luscious forest to the fun event space perfect for any gathering. We stayed in a Bell tent and I have never slept so soundly as I did for this cozy glamping weekend. The bathrooms have everything you need and being amongst friends and family in such a gorgeous space was pure bliss.
We gathered again for a lovely baby shower on a perfect Spring day! Again, the event space was such a great spot and our kids loved play area and fun lawn games!
The last time we stayed we brought our tent and loved it. We were amazed at how comfortable and spacious our site was along with a lovely picnic table to enjoy our meals. The kids loved running around the safe and friendly campsite and playing in the play space. They have been hounding us to return and we cannot wait! We will be recommending Columbia Gorge Getaways to everyone as the perfect gathering spot! Thank you for the wonderful experiences each and every time.
