Rich creek trail is a moderate hike the takes you up the creek to a high mountain meadow. I saw deer and moose during my hike in early fall.
Spent a three day weekend hiking the Buffalo Wilderness Loop and it was beautiful. Trails were mostly well marked. Kind of lost track of it when it crossed the river heading up to the meadow.
Beautiful trail with wonderfully scenic views through diverse terrain beginning a 13 mile loop around the north side of west Buffalo Peak.
Fun trail. Lots of variety. I didn't do the whole loop, just up and back down. Leaves were really nice on areas and there's a great view from the top.
Nice quiet area with access to some rolling trails along the creek. Pretty area! No bathroom.
