Very nice camp ground with 20 dry camping sites. Amazing camp hosts with the cleanest pit toilets I have ever seen. $18 to camp $7 for extra vehicle.
BEWARE of this campground! There was an incredibly rude older man there who started harassing me the moment I arrived. I thought he may have been the camp host but he didn't identify himself as such. He let his 3 giant off-leash dogs practically knock me over and then started asking for my information. I just wanted to get my envelope to pay my fee and be left alone. When I went to drop my fee in the tube he tried to get me to give it to him. He then started bugging me for my info and I asked what he meant. He got really nasty and snapped at me and I again asked what he needed from me. He continued to snap at me and harass me, I said I didn't need his attitude and would like to leave. He had a key to open up the pay tube and he gave me my money back but when I asked if he was the camp host he said no. I don't know if he is really in charge or just some creeper stealing people's money but I will never return to this campground until I am sure he is gone.
Great campground! They have the cleanest campground toilets I have ever seen. The lots are spacious and have a good amount of space between them. No electrical hookups or water at each lot but there is a hand pump water well in the center of the campground. The area is beautiful, especially if you are looking for Aspen trees. Tanglewood Trails a few miles down the road was a fantastic hiking area. The camp host was very helpful and sells bundles of firewood if you need it. I would definitely camp here again.
Clean and quiet. Meridian trail head is within 1 mile walking distance of the camp sites. No showers but there are clean bathrooms and a water pump (muscle powered) to restock water sources. Bring cash for campsite rental.
