This place is fun, great management, lots of camping options! Gorgeous view, horse shoes and outdoor life. We got to see a couple of deer. They have a club house with full kitchen area and cookware. The bathroom & showers are super clean (dorm style) .Community living room, indoor rooms and tent spots, cabin, full, partial hookups, and for those that want to be off the grid, no hookups.
Just 10 minutes outside of town. but feels miles away.
Thank you Lana, our stay was amazing. We definitely recommend.
We had a nice stay in one of the camp sites. The site are spaced out so you have plenty of privacy. The place is situated on the top of a hill overlooking Cortez. At night you can see the city lights from up there, the sky is amazing; while at the ring fire I could hear a native chanting probably an evening prayer from a nearby hill. The host was very nice, she gave us extra blankets. The showers and restroom are very clean, very hot water. If we are back in the area we will staying again.
I stayed for several nights with my dog at a tent site. The location is amazing. Close to Mesa Verde and Sand Canyon Trail. Get too hot? Its a 6 minute drive to Dolores where you can jump in the river with your dog (it's amazing!), OR you can go to the clubhouse where there are clean, comfy sofas, wifi, and a kitchen are available in air conditioning (so nice we took a nap). The showers and bathrooms are clean with plenty of space to set and hang your belongings. The campsites are generously spaced and shaded with great views. My tent site (#2) felt like I had privacy but was not isolated. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Pleasant fellow campers. I felt very safe and comfortable here with my dog. Very dog friendly. Very safe. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.
We stayed a few months there before we left for the winter. Awesome management. If you need something they will help if possible. Great service all around. The grounds are very well kept. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Will return if possible mid April if open.
