Carter Ever wanted to camp along the green river? Well we (the Carters) invite you to do just that. Whether you are a local or just a traveler passing through youll never find a shortage on things to do .
With things like the dinosaur national monument to hiking, mountain biking or going for a ride on your ATV/Side by side, to fishing, floating or even panning for gold on the green river. Whatever your needs may be, this vally surely wont disappoint.
If traveling from highway 40: After you make the turn off of highway 40 heading south, drive for roughly 2.5 miles until 8250 south. (There is NOT a regular street sign just a small handmade one) take a right hand turn and drive over the cattle guard. &&In about .1 mile the road will begin to split just before crossing a bridge over the Kane hollow. Stay left. Do NOT cross the bridge. You will then come to a locked gate. (You will be given the lock combo upon arrival) After entrance of that first gate, you will then pull all the way through to another gate staying to the right the whole time. You'll then drive-through that second gate (which will be unlocked) and that is where you will then park and camp.
If traveling from highway 45: Head North East on Red Wash Rd for about 10 miles. Take a right onto 8250 south
