Quiet place to camp, with shade and big picnic tables, and a fun, short walk down into the canyon from the plains. Google Fi 4g was very strong. All sites were occupied on a Saturday night in late March.
Great place to camp. A little off the beaten path (17 miles of dirt/ gravel road) Bathroom was exceptionally clean. There's is 3 designated camp sites. The pavilions are really nice along with the picnic tables and camp grills. Also a place to have a camp fire.
This is a wonderful, historic gem. So much history, ancient rock art, beauty, clean air, great hiking trails, lots of signage with historical information. Also great picnic area with bathrooms and love taking the dogs here.
