The host campers were very nice people and were very helpful. The campground itself was well maintained but the bathrooms were not open so I can't say what the situation was in there. There's a playground for the kids with swings, jungle gym, tetherball, etc. The sites are not huge but with the lack of other campers we just used two sites. The lake is a very short walk away and is crystal clear. There's a small private beach with a picnic table. There are two very nice grocery stores not far away and a small PX on base. We will definitely camp here again.
Nice campground for a rustic camping experience. Management is very nice to work with. Paved or gravel sites would be nice but the sites appear to be level and easy to back into. All sites are full hookup except one. Nice beach close by.
Not to bad a bit rustic and could use a good cleaning but has potential. Sites are shady and sandy. The price for here was decent.
Nice quiet military RV Park. Close to the beach and shaded lots. Very clean bathroom/shower building. Great price for the season. Playground for the kids. Camp hosts are very nice and helpful. Most all sites are full hookup, both 30amp and 50 amp are available.
This is not the most favorable for tenting as it's a well shaded oak grove with not a blade of grass in sight. The bath house is close and spotless. Mid week is like a ghost town with the seasonal campers all buttoned up. There are no amenities on site but not a big deal as town is only about three or four miles away. Friendly camp hosts for sure. Yup I would stay again just not in a little pup tent.
