Nice small campground amongst the trees. Sites are close together but most people camping there are out and about during the day, so not really an issue. Lots of rules which are strictly enforced. Lobster feast on Saturday evenings at sister campground Megunticook was fantastic with a gorgeous view !!

The positives first. The friendly lady at check in, was very nice, helpful and organized. She had wonderful attention to detail. The pool was so warm and beautiful the weekend we were there. We all enjoyed a dip. Our RV lot was shaded, which was very nice, it was a hot weekend. There was a fire ring, and we enjoyed some smore's. Some of our neighbors do need a lesson on how to correctly use the fire rings without burning the surrounding area, yikes! We were definitely disappointed with the size of the RV lots. Very, very small, everyone is WAY to close. Our neighbor, was not concerned with the detail of hooking up his septic line correctly, so for most of Saturday we were stuck with a stinky situation until we mentioned it upon their return from site seeing. There is no free WiFi, there is an option to buy Wifi, but seemed expensive for a short weekend. As I mentioned before, the pool was warm, and beautiful, but many of the guests; not only us, were unable to enjoy it for long due to the small pack of unsupervised tween boys continuously jumping/diving into the pool from atop a deck box and fighting amongst themselves for hours. I wanted to enjoy this park, for its proximity to Camden, Rockport etc. However, I don't think we'll be going back.

A few weeks ago we stayed for a week (our first time there) and we were so pleasantly surprised after reading some of the critical reviews. We got a site for our family right beside our friends' site (we have a travel trailer, they have a huge bus). I am surprised at the negative reviews because they do not match our experience! We found it very comfortable and welcoming, loved all the trees and shade, and did not find the sites any closer together than other similarly sized campground we have been to. Across from our campsite was a brand new, paved pickleball court, which provided hours and hours of entertainment for the kids and adults in our group. We loved it so much we wore out our cheap rackets from Target and had to keep repairing them. We also had a blast playing table tennis in the air conditioned community building. The pool area was sparking clean and comfortable - kids spent every day in it. Bathrooms were basic but always clean and just about what I would expect for Maine campground (it is a campground, not Disneyland!) I might suggest new faucets, because they were small and some were a bit hard to shut off, but I also gather the campground has new owners who are making tons of big improvements, so they probably have bigger priorities at the moment. We visited Camden and Rockport (maybe a 15 min. drive away), to get ice cream, go hiking, etc. All week our kids played on the swingset and ran around nonstop with a little gang of little kids they befriended, and no one ever complained or seemed to mind all the noise and laughter. As soon as night fell the campground was always peaceful and quiet - we never heard a peep, so we slept great. I know some complain about paying for wifi but we borrowed a free wifi hotspot from our local library and brought it with us - worked like a charm!

This campground hardly qualifies as a resort. You had to pay extra for internet which was terrible and always disconnecting. They didn't offer any cable. The sites are uneven, the laundry machines are super small and expensive, the camp store has nothing in it. There were only 2 bathroom stalls and 2 showers which were hardly big enough for an average sized person. There were no planned activities as stated on their site. The fence around pool was falling down, the playground was falling apart and was nothing more than a slide. Not at all worth the money.

Very good location near Camden and Rockland or Rockport Village. Very quiet park, lots of trees. We had a nice, large site location. The laundry room was nice, bright and sunny...which I appreciated compared to most. Wish laundry prices were posted as I couldn't see display on machine well because of outdoor light glare.
