Good campground on the river, and the staff is fantastic. I stayed here last year and it was quiet and peaceful - exactly what I'd think a family campground would bring.
I stayed here last weekend, and wow. I wish I knew the whole story, but there was supposedly a family reunion, complete with e-bikes with bright headlights going through the campground after midnight encouraging others to come partake in their 'festivities', and a full on live band that clearly wasn't welcome. To the campground owner's credit, he seemed to be doing the best he could to get them kicked out, and with help of the police, eventually did shut down the incredibly loud music, but there was definitely a feeling of rowdiness and sketchy behavior from a large part of the campground.
I'm hoping this was a one-off, and would encourage the owners to be even more proactive at keeping those shenanigans out of their campground. Overall a positive experience!
The worst campground we ever been too. The showers were horrible disgusting hair everywhere, dirty Qtips, and smells like mold,.
The guy who runs the place has zero personality, not the kind of person who should be running a campground
. Lots of partying, foul language and barking dogs was our experuence. Bathrooms were dirty, hanging soap dispenser and zero towels. A total waste of money. Camp sites and river beach was night. Place need new management and so.e TLC
