Calloway RV and Campground

0 stars when we first arrived. 5 stars when we left. The place was soooo trashy when we first arrived. Pool closed. Laundromat was so nasty, I would go elsewhere to do my laundry. Around midstay, the campground manager changed to a lady named Tonya (not me). The difference she made was unbelievable. We started seeing her and her family working and cleaning nonstop. We noticed change almost daily. They mowed, cut down trees, had dumpsters installed, cleaned the lodge so that it could actually be used. Cleaned the Laundromat and bathrooms. Stopped drug use in the park. I hope the owners know what a worker they truly have. KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL PROGRESS TONYA!!

This place is not worth the 500 or more a month for lot rent... We were unfairly kicked out for this place for using the amenities they have in place.... Because the owner "didn't know our faces and we didn't personally hand her rent money"...We were staying with my daughter that paid in advance to stay there and there is nothing said about having guests stay with someone in their trailers and we were not informed that the owner needs to know every single person by face to stay here she called the cops and had us unfairly trespassed off the property even after the cops verified that we did in fact belong there with my daughter. Don't waste your money with this evil woman... She is very judgemental and she has an attitude like she is above the world and we are all just homeless people beneath her!! Enjoy your time in a better place... There is a reason this is the only place in Hammond that has lot rentals available and we found the problem...THE OWNER!!!
