Great fishing lake. Cheap boat rentals. Great hikes. Bird watching and tons of bunnies and deer. Nice quiet and secluded.

Great place to fish but be careful of man-made habitat enhancers of cement and sticks. You may get snagged in some coves and along shallow banks. Fishing is slow in Feb

Cool hiking, biking spot..you can ride horses and fish from shore or on boat..different terrain throughout the park, lots of animals out there.. it can get cold in the shade, pretty quiet area for the most part. Entry fee 10 bucks, but worth it..I love all the oak trees and craggy rocks! Family friendly

Very large lake also very large fish! Is great if have a boat. Bank fishing is good but the problem for me was only 5 fishing spots that had shade .

Beautiful, fun lake. Rent a pontoon boat from the marina and bring a picnic! Thoroughly enjoyable and a great food and supply shop at the marina. A charming couple run the shop, and they are super helpful!
