Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail I camped here one night while resuppling. The park host is super friendly and keeps the park in pristine condition. Hot showers and laundry on-site with good wifi included. Would stay again.
What an amazing campsite and absolutely wonderful service by the camp owner! Gave us the best advice about the area and even lending us his own life jackets for free.
Nice grassy area for tent sites. Hiker friendly. Clean bathrooms, plenty of hot water, no extra fee. Modern laundry machines that can do sleeping bags and puffies, open 24 hrs coin operated. Outlets for tech recharging (free), a cold drink machine also coin operated, and a gas grill that guests can use (free). Accommodating and efficient management.
Sure, at $20 a night it's not the absolute cheapest campsite, but it's clean, safe, friendly and has lots of facilities. And it's way cheaper than a motel.
I've stayed there five times now when making trips to Walker Pass and the Pacific Crest Trail down the highway from there. I will tell you it's a good place and I would stay there again any time.
Didn’t stay here but was able to fill up with potable water. The park looked clean and orderly with nightly, seasonal and long term spots. Very grateful for the help since we couldn’t find potable water anywhere in the area. Thank you Haven!
Nice and clean, quiet, dog friendly. It's just a great spot. I have been staying here for months
