Stayed for 5 days in late June 2021 in campsite #5 and the campground host was the best woman hostess I have ever met. She made our stay very enjoyable. I have stayed there about 15 times in the past 35 years and I will return every year that these 78 year old bone will get me there. I hope the Dixie Fire bypassed North Fork 🙏

Pros:

- Easy access to the river

- The river was clean and full in July

- Bathrooms are pretty clean

- Showers available if you want them

- Plumas national forest is gorgeous

Cons:

- Sites are very small and very close to each other

- You can hear and see everything your neighbors are doing

- Hosts were very rude!

- No soap in bathrooms

- River access is a very small beach that gets very crowded

- Wildfires :(

Not the best campsite overall. The area is really beautiful so it was still worth it to stay here, especially having super easy access to water - the river was 30 or so feet from our site. However, the sites are pretty small and very close to each other so there’s no privacy and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. On top of that, the hosts were incredibly rude to us about our very quiet dog, but didn’t enforce leash rules for other groups, even when their dogs were barking. I wouldn’t go back, I’d check out one of the many other campsites in the area.

Lovely spot. Thankful to have found a place to camp . . . COVID has so many people retreating into the wilderness. This place had many available spots unlike some of the surrounding areas.

Many thanks and salutations to North Fork Campground hosts "Ron & Sharon" for a delightful mid-July 2019 4-nite stay at the North Fork Campground. 21 sites, 4 with electrical hookup, sites 1 - 4. Their hard work and dedication maintains a PET-FRIENDLY, FAMILY ORIENTED campground for all visitors. CLEAN HOT SHOWERS, 8-quarters for 4-minutes, and also CLEAN REST ROOMS.
