Been camping here with family and friends over 12 years and 20+ years for my brother in law that got my family hooked and we now make this a yearly family vacay.

Trinity river is literally minutes away by foot from any campsite you may occupy. Through the years many regular's would build a damn from the rocks to create a little pool to enjoy and to relax from the heat and sun. Because it gets really hot during the summerπŸŒžβ˜€οΈ. Further down stream there's a deeper area where you can actually swim and fish for trout. ( FYI water snakes are always swimming by) Campsite is well maintained and restrooms are clean. We normally take a family walk around the whole campsite just to say hello as we walk by. There's a few families we know that's been coming here for over 40+ years and travel as far as Oregon, Washington, and as far as Pennsylvania. πŸ‘

Coffee Creek store is about 8 miles away next to the fire station. Great people that operate that store. You can also Check out KOA campsite. Gas station as well as a mini store and a fast food joint next door. Believe it or not, great customer service and reasonable price to treat your family for some burger's and fries. And ice cream!πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ”πŸŸ Trinity Center, is the furthest, but worth the drive to enjoy God's beautiful scenery. They offer better deals on ice and fire woodπŸ‘( store has been up graded )and have more selections to chose in their store than the other two. One of our family tradition before driving home to Sacramento, Oakland, San Leandro, and Pacifica is having breakfast at, The Yellow Jacket. Go in and say hello to, Mike and his lovely wife. Good people that'll make you feel right at home. Great food. And great price!!
