Great place to camp and at 8000 feet in elevation nice weather during the day for hikes pretty clean restroom s and views are amazing
High elevation around 7200 feet. Great campground, one restroom for approximately 17 to 20 campsites all dry camping no water spicket available, first come first serve campsites are free at buck rock campsites.
Absolute gem of a campground. Surrounded by a beautiful grove of trees. Easy to get too, the first 4 miles from the highway are paved and the last 1/2 mile of forest service road is easy to traverse, just watch out for one big rock in the middle you need to avoid in a compact car.
