Trails can be accessed just outside the campground, which connect to all the trails in the greater OHV Area. Each parking spot was designed to accommodate vehicles towing up to 27ft. trailers. There are 20 sites available and amenities include 2 pit style toilets. No potable water is available. Passes can be purchased at the local ranger station in Alpine, or at stores in Pine Valley and Lake Morena.
From Pine Valley, CA, take Interstate 8 east 6.3 miles to "Buckman Springs" exit. At end of off ramp, turn right and go 0.1 miles to stop sign. Continue straight onto Buckman Springs Rd. and go 3.3 miles to Corral Canyon Off Road Vehicle Area sign (Corral Canyon Rd. - Forest Rt. 17S04). Turn right onto Corral Canyon Rd. and go 5.9 miles to "Y" intersection (Four Corners Trail head sign). Bear left onto Skye Valley Rd. and go 1.9 to campground.
Nice area to camp, has restrooms but no showers or hookups. Wake up and wheel some of the best trails in San Diego, from mild to wild.
A great campground for riding the trails of Corral Canyon. There are maps located at the front of the campground showing all of the trails, the outhouse just had a single stall but was very clean, there are firepits in every campsite, and the scenery was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again!
Love these campgrounds because you can stay with an adventure pass! It's actually pretty quiet even though the OHV area is close. Fantastic weekend trip!
