Come for the camping and stay for the hospitality. The owner Jai is the best! We’ve never felt more at home camping. Dolly is amazing at what she does and the kids love her! The park is gated in, which is a huge plus and comforting. They have even started to do activities on Saturdays for the kids. Rocky and Ariana run that part amazingly. The kids are having a blast and us adults get to relax.
I spent a rainy night tent camping but thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Maria was extremely helpful and courteous when I called and checked in. Bathrooms and clubhouse were clean and well equipped. Very quiet all night except a few coyote tipping. Dolly stopped by in the morning to make sure all was good. Wish I had more time to check out trails and animals. Will have to stay longer next time
Although the site was beautiful and had ostriches and nice staff, there were some things that could be improved on. I did a late registration and had to wait (not that much) to do the check in. My wife and I were traveling east to west road trip using KOA and this was the only campground without late check in. Cabin was very dusty, the heater was too small for a big cabin; not great on a cold night. Bathrooms were dirty, only campground on the trip that my wife and I didn’t wanted to take a shower.
Beautiful well maintained koa. Off the beaten path, a bit of a trek, but worth it. Peaceful and quiet, very different then a lot of KOAs. You actually feel like you are camping. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of fun for the kiddos.
