This is a great RV park, with the wild life that is around & haven great river access & amazing walking path. The owners are also very kind & easy to work with. Me & my son enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you
Black Rabbit Rv Park was a pleasant surprise compared to the other Rv Parks in Hamilton. In town, clean, beautiful grounds, on the river. Manager was exceptionally nice and helpful. She had to remind us a few times about our truck parking, but she did it Very nicely!!!
Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area!! Fishing out back in the river. Great place
Very disappointing experience with Rebecca at Black Rabbit RV Park. We called ahead to inquire whether the dump station was open and she informed us it was, and that everything was working, but that we had to bring our own wash hose. We showed up, paid, and proceeded to dump our black tank and engage the water. However, no water came out. I called the after hours line (2:30 pm on a Wednesday) and got a call back from Rebecca. When I explained the situation she said that the water must have frozen. I requested a refund but she refused as we had already dumped our black tank (since we had assumed everything was working due to our previous phone call).
While I can understand that Black Rabbit raised dump fees to $20 to be competitive and to support a new system, it’s inexcusable to not have working water for that price. At least be transparent that the water doesn’t work during winter months so that we can at least decide if we are comfortable dumping without a washout or we bring our own water. I was shocked that there was not even an offer for a credit or partial refund, just a flat out refusal with a “not my problem” attitude and a comment of “you already dumped your poop.”
Newer camp geound. Has hookups for RVs and spots for tents. Pet friendly. Showers, restrooms, and laundry on site. Reasonable rates. On the Bitterroot River. Highly recommend.
In my travels over the years, I've never felt it necessary to leave a review for an RV park, and I have visited many, but in this case, I'm compelled to speak.
The current park manager, Rebecca, is nothing but awesome in her duties. She bends over backwards to take care of her guests and the park. She really and truly cares about what happens here. As a longer-term resident of the park, I consider her a friend.
The setting of the park is beautiful, with a forest, in which to hike, and the Bitterroot river right behind the park, with all kinds of wildlife to see when they visit. And yes, there are rabbits!
