What a wonderful surprise to find this gem! My husband and I came for a weekend to visit family in the area and I can not say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly by Leigh and felt right at home in their newest cabin unit. It was furnished beautifully, the kitchen well stocked, the air conditioning refreshing, the furniture and bed were comfortable. The area is VERY peaceful, enjoyed our coffee on the screened porch. They thought of everything to accommodate for a comfortable stay, even stocked the fire pit! We will definitely be back someday, maybe with our pups next time!
I said out loud probably 50x throughout the weekend, “This place is so cute”!
They thought of everything and spared no expense in the details. We stayed in one of the cabins for a local wedding that weekend. The cabins are brand new and have everything you need. There was a welcome wedding gathering at the campground. Their property has a huge indoor/outdoor game space with activities and a cute place to socialize. Then we moved down to the stunning pavilion for music and food. They make the pizzas on-site in an outdoor brick pizza oven. They were amazing! Cannot say enough good things about our stay at Bison Trace. Will absolutely recommend and stay there again.
Stayed here for the weekend during fall fest at the peek. Had the best time! Perfect location, very quiet and the hosts are very responsive and accommodating! The cabin was very comfortable and fully stocked. The screened in porch was a perfect place to drink coffee in the morning. Could not recommend more! Will definitely be coming back
Gorgeous place to stay. The hosts make sure you have everything and I mean everything you need to make your time comfortable. The view and the craftsmanship down to the company are fantastic. We mentioned during our booking it was our anniversary and they left a card, champagne on ice, and a candle out for us with warm wishes. It is dog-friendly. Pillows, blankets, towels, hand towels, silverware, coffee maker, toiletries etc. Our cabin had it all. Highly recommend it if you want a quiet getaway. Also, your host sends you their number, if you need anything at all that you don't see or have they will personally go into town to get it for you text or call.
We just stayed this past weekend and it was a fantastic experience. We can’t wait to visit again. Leigh was super responsive, very friendly, and went above and beyond to give us the best stay. We really appreciated it!
The cabins are well maintained, clean, and have everything you need. We also had an outdoor grill and fire pit to round out the experience. We brought our dog and it is very dog friendly with a little dog park for the pups.
Bison Trace is in a great location - close to the Peek n Peak area and to great local establishments like French Creek Tavern.
Highly recommend!
