We had an absolute blast at Birdland Bay RV Resort. The RV sites are spacious quiet lots (not so close together), the view is absolutely amazing all around (especially on the trail to the river) and the water is breathtaking. It is a perfect place for kids, as well as pets.
The facilities included showers that were maintained and there is a laundry! The owners were amazing and take the time to check in just to make sure you are OK. For example, we did not have a water filter for our motor home (I had never even heard of one) and the owner went and hooked one up for us, which I thought was really kind. I absolutely love this place and will be back.
We are frequent glampers and this by far was the best one yet.
Thank you so much Birdland Bay for such an amazing week!!!!!
We were so glad we found this little slice of heaven in Thompson Falls MT. The campground is clean, cool and quiet with nice amenities like a laundry room, showers and great wifi. Tamara and Aaron who own the camp were delightful and communicated with us throughout our stay. We took the excursion on the pontoon boat with two other couples we met at the campground and it was time and money well spent as we experienced more of the Clark Fork river and making new friends You will definitely want to take the short walk from the campground down to a private, sandy beach on the river where we enjoyed the sun and felt very safe as we swam in the bay. We could have spent many more hours down there. We cant recommend Birdland Bay RV enough. We'll be back!
Stayed at this RV Park when I was back in town for a high school reunion. Park is very clean and grounds are very nicely maintained. Sites are a good size and you are not parked on top of your neighbor. Plenty of space to back in the RV with easy hookup to water and power. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay and just a few minutes drive to town. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Thompson Falls.
This is a small family owned campground. I found it easy to reserve a site and appreciated the phone calls to make sure we were set. The owners are very helpful and kind. The welcome packet is very well done. We appreciated the business card for our files and the sticker for our Yeti. The campground is located in a beautiful setting with mature pine trees. There is a great nine hole golf course conveniently located adjacent to the campground. Don’t be fooled by it being just nine holes. It is challenging. There is also a path from the campsite down to the Clark River. People boat, fish or kayak in this area. The waters are crystal clear and beautiful. There is also a small sandy beach. We hope to return to this beautiful campground in the future!
Small family owned business with huge focus on their guests! Booking was easy and follow up was more than expected. Welcome packet included important information and materials were thoughtfully done. The campground is a beautiful facility. The sites are very spacious and there is ample room between you and your neighbors. The walking trail brings you right to the rivers edge and golf course is easy to get to as well.
During our visit we had a tire go flat on our trailer. The owners not only let us borrow items we didn't have (like a floor jack), they even helped us change the tire!
We have enjoyed our stay here very much, highly recommend this campsite, and look forward to being back again soon!
