Been to better places.. Seems like the new managment could be friendlier but thats just me
I was here from May to early October. It's a great park on the lake with an area for boat storage and a good boat launch. The park is clean and quite, and the few times I used the showers I found them outdated, but very clean and plenty of hot water.
There is not much to do at the park, but for enjoying the lake it is great. Some of the areas near the park are a little sketchy, but I had no problems in 5 months and never felt like there were any issues in the park.
The manager and his wife were awesome. I didn't need to have a lot of contact with them, but every single time I did, it was a very pleasant experience, without exception.
Dirty. Infested with ants, spiders, elm beetles. The management is very bad and harassing. The manager lady asked me what a spicket was. When it came to having no running water. Said to leave if I didn’t like it. The guy in the Rv next to me hits his walls so hard it sounds like someone is pounding on my Rv outside. He literally yells nasty things to someone. that’s a all day thing. He walks around with a pipe or a bong smoking marijuana all day and drinking alcohol. With kids around and my 78 year old dad with late stage dementia. Also one day He threw dog poop at my place. Cause he assumed it was my dog. And he says he is part of the cartel so he has said not to mess with him. Actually threatened my 78 year old dad who yes has dementia… And yes the police had to be involved….
The upside of this park is that they got us in on short notice, it has trees, and the lake is beautiful. The downside is that it's rough and run-down. It seems a lot of people are living there full time. We had to back around a car with tags expired two years ago, so it's safe to assume it's no longer running, to get in our spot. It's cash only. It was ok for a one night stop, but I definitely wouldn't have wanted to stay for a week.
Cool place right off of lake moses it's practically the backyard everyone kinda says to them selfs and the rent was pretty cheap
