FROM LAFAYETTE, LA: Take LA 167 South to Abbeville (about 18-20 miles). At Ray-Chevy Olds (on right) in Abbeville, turn LEFT on Hwy 14 East. Go 4/10 mi. to next light, turn RIGHT on State Street. Go about 2 miles South on State Street until you reach 2118 S. State. The RV Park is on the RIGHT!
were there 3 days. spots are a little small, but this is an RV park in the middle of town, so that's to be expected. Betty is GREAT ! super to work with, friendly and a great happy hour.
Loved Betty's. Everyone so friendly. Great place to stay if you love to let the good times roll. The spaces are tight, but the friendliness of Betty and the guests make up for that. The whole park celebrated my birthday, I even got a birthday card signed from everyone. There was even a St. Patrick's Day dinner which we all celebrated in good Irish fashion. This is a great place for us retirees who want to kick up their heels.
We are Canadians that have been traveling Canada and the US for 7 months so far. Betty’s RV Park in Louisiana is the one campground that we hope to return to someday! After only 3 nights, we were drawn into Betty’s “web”! So much fun! Amazing hospitality! Some of the nicest people we’ve ever met ❤️
Betty’s RV Park is the best! It is a small park full of Southern Louisiana hospitality and charm. You arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. Betty makes you feel like family. We especially enjoyed the 4:30 pm happy hours where we meet our neighbors. We will definitely return and plan on letting our friends know this is one stop you definitely need to experience.
Absolutely love staying at Betty's. She's a wonderful host and quickly feels like a favorite aunt. Location is convenient to many fun spots and excellent restaurants. Betty's more than willing to suggest her knowledge about area attractions.
