The campground was okay, the owner was super nice, as was the staff. It was a bit noisy, as it was near the airport. The sites weren't level and were very close together. For example, the dump for the site next door was about 5 feet from our entry door. They had a nice laundry, the property was clean, felt very safe and the staff attentive. It was close to shopping and the city.
If I stayed in Bemidji again I would probably try for something a bit better, although you could do a lot worse.
This place was very good actually. Sure it’s kind of in a business area now, but it’s convenient and easy to access. I felt secure in my tent, and it was plenty quiet for sleeping. The staff was phenomenal. The pool looked good and they still have a game room. The mini golf needs a bit of attention probably, but nothing that can’t be fixed. I will come back again.
Family owned and operated and it shows!! Very welcoming and they will even deliver wood directly to your site! We tent camped for 3 nights and had the perfect spot close to all the amenities. Clean bathrooms and showers too!
This place was awesome!!! Our site was spacious and quiet. Our neighbor was super friendly and fun to hang out with, and the owner and staff were nice and friendly. I’ve never been to a KOA where the owner is so attentive to his guests. Bringing you to your site, asking if you need anything before he closes the store, he goes above and beyond to satisfy his guests. Also, the pool was fantastic and the whole place overall was clean and nice. I highly recommend to anyone camping in the area.
We booked two nights in a 2 room camping cabin. It was nice and comfortable. We went in Sept, so having the heat was nice. Bring your own linens. Campfire wood can be delivered to your site just $14 for two bundles. The camp kitchen was nearby and very handy to have. The bathrooms are decent with very hot water for a refreshing shower! Overall it was a very inexpensive camping trip. We love the camping cabins because they are a nice cross between camping and have the luxury of an actual bed. You rough it a little without sacrificing your sleep. Overall would recommend!
