What an awe inspiring course. I enjoyed every minute of these courses. Tons of fun and very challenging! Considering the year pass after today!
Fun 21 hole big course. Has a $12 greens fee. Not just for Pros, a good AM course too. Also has a short course.
It's ok. They said a lot of upgrades have been done but it doesn't look too spectacular. The outside of the building is pretty lack luster. I know it's a cheaper venue but holy cow. We were also greeted first by a gentleman that does the VFW breakfasts there every month and while he was a total sweetheart, it would have been nice to get a real tour first. He didn't have all of the keys and such. It's an old building and the best part about it is the windows and fireplace. It sits in the same parking lot as a frisby golf course And so it's not exactly private. The winner was the outdoor ceremony space. Very pretty and whimsical. However you have to walk down a muddy and rigidy dirt and rock walk way. It was pretty and quaint just don't think it's right for a wedding venue.
Absolutely love the dog park here! We are regulars, and have met many great dogs and their parents, who are also regulars.
We were the only ones present this afternoon. It's a gorgeous park. Lots of pines for shade. The ground is covered in wood chips and larger bits, so a wheelchair or other mobility aid would be difficult.
There's a big area and a second, smaller area for small or injured dogs. That's a nice distinction, too. When our 50 lb lapdog hurt her back a few years ago and had difficulty walking, it would've been nice to be able to use a smaller dog park area without getting dirty looks. :-)
There are benches and tables, and we saw 5 or 6 water dishes. There's no water source in the park, but if you bring your own water you won't have to worry about a bowl. There were toys all around the park. Someone takes good care of the place.
