It was really nice and had a real good ramp to let your boat come in and out of the lake and the water is deep and the parts of the lake are 40 to 50 ft deep Great lake good fishing

What a great place to experience nature! Beautiful and well kept. Saw 4 red headed woodpeckers and lots of butterflies. Fishing boats limited to 10 mpg. Seems to have lots to catch. Nice pads for tents. Accommodations for camper vehicles. Showers too. No ATVs which is plus to me. Boats and kayaks to rent. They will be Ben lend you a fishing pole! The center has a terrific education room that’s really well done. I saw a sign for a multi purpose room. There’s a little amphitheater outside. Themed gardens. Dogs must be leashed. There are even dog poo stations with bags for you to clean up after Rover. They have nature programs at different times. I was so impressed. We were just out for a drive but will definitely come back and take advantage of this gorgeous lake.

They tell me they have a stocked pond for kids to fish in. There’s a store with some necessities as well as souvenirs in the center as well.

Seriously. This place is so well-planned and cared for. Don’t miss it!
