The Cabin at the Hideaway was amazing. Great views of the lake and all the amenities were readily available. They had boats, rods and reels, and any other thing we could think of. It got all 3 of my kids off their phones and we all went exploring. Great fishing and Betty and Larry were exceptionally responsive. Couldn’t recommend more. Already planning another trip.
Wow this place is paradise!! Was able to reserve a night through text message - so convenient. Betty and Larry were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place is absolutely beautiful and cozy. I’m so glad I found it and cannot recommend enough!
Our cabin was clean and comfy and the location is outstanding. We loved having the private dock for our fishing boat. Sunsets were spectacular.
Folks, this is a gem on beautiful Pocomoonshine Lake! Plenty of R&R time but also adventure on your doorstep. When not boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding or lazin in the sun, check out the local stuff: Moosehorn Wildlife Refuge has walking/hiking trails but also scenic car road, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and picnicking.

We had the Cedars Cottage, all redone in tongue and groove; very nice! We had what we needed at our fingertips. The AC saved the days this week with temps/humidity way up there!

This is our second year staying at the Hideaway. We booked the Shore cabin both years and it has been nothing short of fantastic. Cabin is beautifully kept, the managers (Betty & Larry) are great and you can’t beat the view. Absolutely love this place!
