Babbitt Campground & RV Park is a new campground that will open the spring of 2023.
Welcome to Northeast Minnesota’s newest Campground & RV Park nestled amongst the pine trees, adjacent to the Southern shores of Birch Lake near the town of Babbitt. We offer large full hook up sites, a full-service shower house/restroom, a camp store that offers firewood, ice, soft drinks, ice cream, camping supplies, and gift items. Our facility also houses a fish cleaning house and extra parking for boat trailers and ATVs for your convenience.
The Campground is located within walking distance to Birch Lake, Babbitt’s Public Beach, Heartland ATV Trail, and a paved bike path to allow easy access to leisure activities such as fishing, boating, ATVing, swimming, or just enjoying the nature of the north woods. We are also only a short drive to many of the area’s attractions such as The International Wolf Center, The North American Bear Center, The Dorothy Molter Museum, multiple golf courses including Babbitt, Ely, The Wilderness, and Giants Ridge, restaurants, and local shopping in Babbitt and Ely.
Come stay a day, a week, a month, or the whole season. We gladly welcome your visit!
I am not a computer person when it comes to buying or making reservation online. The camp host Rebecca helped me. A fluke in the system and ended up with 2 stes. They canceled one and I was to be refunded. Well the refund ended up another Debit. The City of Babbitt was very friendly and refunded everything in the end. They were very apologetic and sorry for our inconvenience.
The park has large wonderful sites. Very clean and friendly. Yes I recommend camping here!
This campground is awesome!! So clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. The bike trail to town as well the picnic area. The restrooms were clean and the shower facilities were top notch. There is a beautiful playground area as well a beach area was in walking distance. I would highly recommend this campground!! We will definitely stay here again next year.
We loved our site. Private and beautiful. Camp hosts are friendly and accommodating. Common areas are clean and well manicured. Quiet and peaceful campground. Nice areas to walk and bike. We will be back.
Newer place. Nice lots. Water, sewer, and electric. Trail starts near by. Friendly hosts. I seen spots for seasonal. Easy in and out with bigger RV's
Very impressive new campground. It was clean with nice bath houses.
Sites are large with plenty of space.
