My partner and I had a great stay at the Chadwick late October for 3 nights. We stayed in the Chamberlain room which was spacious with a private bathroom just down the hall which was very modern. The Inn had nice common areas and was nice to chat to fellow guests over breakfast. Erin was an exceptional host, preparing delicious breakfasts every morning and providing great recommendations and just general great chats each day. Erin and Zack’s 3 Huskies were also an added bonus! A great stay for exploring Portland.

Walking distance to most downtown attractions, pubs, museums. Incredible breakfast! The Baxter room is a cozy fit but it has a balcony which would be so nice to enjoy during warmer months. The lounge downstairs is very comfortable and inviting. I was actually very surprised at just how quiet the whole house was on any given night.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The inn keepers, their daughter, as well as the three dogs were so welcoming and took the time to chat with us. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfasts served to us were the best meals of my weekend. I enjoyed the sitting room complete with the Christmas decorations. There were games available to use, a puzzle to do, and comfortable places to sit. We enjoyed using this place and even purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy by the fire. I can't wait to come back!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Erin and Zack are amazing hosts. From the moment we checked in, everything was a breeze. The self check in made things easy, and I loved how all of the FAQ’s were on the card with our room keys. The Chamberlain room was the room we stayed in and it was perfect. Nice and spacious and comfortable.

The breakfasts were PHENOMENAL to say the very least. My husband was a chef for 12 years and was consistently surprised with how amazing the breakfasts were. We are still debating which was better- the French Toast or the Berry cobbler pancakes. Each morning was a new culinary experience and there was not one thing Erin served that we didn’t LOVE.

The area was also perfect for us- Erin gave us excellent restaurant recommendations that were only a short drive (3-5 minutes) from the location. If it had been warmer, it would have been an easy walk to any of the places she recommended.

Erin and Zack are exceptional hosts and we are already planning a trip to come back and bring the whole family. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!
