At this time of year (late March), nice weather, no crowds, and very quiet. Very flat, with easy access roads. Nice Mountain views and desert all around. And Verizon cell service too!
Doug is the best camp host.... and he has a great trailer for sale! Lots of space out there for everyone and it's free! So long as you register with Doug.

We only stayed for 1 night but it was beautiful.
Pretty empty. Lots of fire pits. Awesome sunset!

Favorite place to camp in Quartzite. 14 day free with lots of trees and shrubs in washes. Plenty of room most of the time, moderate generator noise compared to the ltvas.
I absolutely love all the open space. Not nearly as crowded as dome rock campground.
