Called ahead and spoke with a wonderful lady who gave us a spot number and told us to head on over. Just right off the interstate, easy to find and easy to navigate park with map offered at the office. We pulled right in and enjoyed a great evening. Very quiet absolutely no road noise, absolutely no noise for that matter. We were in spot B36 which offers a pond view and a picnic deck area. You’d never imagine you were this close to the interstate. We will be back again! Highly recommend. Clean camp ground, mowed and big trash dumpster for use on the way out. Hook ups were in good shape and street lamps as well. Our 3 dogs loved this place. Our rig is 35ft and we had PLENTY of room and navigated easily thru park.

We pulled in late and the lady was very nice and put us in a pull through spot without even having to ask for it. We were able to just pull in and crawl in bed without the hassle of unhooking or leveling the trailer. Nice level spot with a deck and a view of the pond. Pretty little spot for a quick over night stay.

I chose this campground specifically for its proximity to the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush Museum. We were very happy with the park. It’s super quiet and well kept. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean. Yes, there are a lot of full time residents, but, for the most part, everyone tends their site well. Our site was level, the staff were courteous and the value is tremendous!!

Drove through to check it out before we decided to stay and I am glad I did! A lot of permanent residence in the campsites and a lot of them were very trashed. Was a little scary to me. When we left I decide to look up the reviews again because i remembered a 4.3 and I was reading how several of the one nighters had lost their cats there. And found out that they were trapped and killed. I do not recommend this campground. I Believe a lot of the reviews that are five stars had to be put by someone that knows the owner.

This is mainly a residential park, so if you're looking for a one-night stay but couldn't get a hold of the manager (call nor text) but tried to stop anyway because you have two small kids and an elderly dog and are brave to drive through the park searching for what you hope is one of two possible open spots due to the two envelopes at the cash drop box, you may find yourself in one of the only open spots - E61, where you'll most assuredly be awakened before the sun rises to the continual call of a singular crowing rooster at your neighboring site.

Everything else was great 👍.
