This has to be one of the most beautiful and relaxing place on God's earth. We spent Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday over labor day 2015 at the camp site. Amanda and Joel are very cordial and were a big help with information about the camp and surrounding area. Nancy in the office is simply a sweetheart. We arrived with two empty 30 pound LP gas bottles in our RV. In a matter of minutes Nancy was on the phone, called two places and within the hour were had a full compliment of LP gas. There is lots to do within an hour drive and there is lots of beautiful scenery to view. We used the facility as a camp site and not a retreat but I don't see how you could go wrong with the Aldersgate Camp. Do yourself a favor and check it out. All sites are full hook-up and the rates are amazing.

My son has been to summer camp here twice and talks about it throughout the year. His little sister will be going next summer. I've slept comfortably in the cottages for a night on church retreat. The campgrounds are secluded, with various levels of accommodation ranging from simple tent sites to private cabins. The main lodge is spacious and is capable of hosting large groups. Features of the campgrounds include a large pool, zip lines, hiking trails, with a beautiful creek through the middle.

Talk to anyone who spent time here as a child and you will likely hear that this is a special place.

I'm 14 and have been going for 5 years and i love it at aldersgate with my whole heart!! The counselors are always the best (shoutout to kayla!!) and the food is always amazing!! I have celiac and the kitchen staff always does such a great job at making sure I have a full meal to eat, unlike other places where i've been handed a salad and had to deal with it. I'm so excited for this summer!!

My kiddo absolutely LOVED the discovery camp. I personally thought it was wild that they stayed in well appointed cabins with air conditioning and a shower. The staff was fantastic and my kid came home so happy and said the food was great!

It's the boys first time at a camp and the people we met throughout registration were Awesome and helpful! It was a bueatiful drive in and out. I was born in California but the mountains of Kentucky are special and beautiful. Keep a map or a print out of directions because the GPS did go out on us a few times leaving out, but what a sight to behold.
