Very friendly staff. The owners are helpful and there has never been any problems when we stayed. Cabins are clean and everything you could need is already there. We have been a number of times and we are going back again next weekend.
The couple that ran the place was very nice. We rented a pontoon for 10 people. The price was very reasonable. We had trouble for a brief moment but I'm not so sure I didn't cause the problem. The owner was on his way out to us in no time. Let it set for a few minutes and it fired right back up. If you are looking for a cheap place to have a good time with the family you won't be disappointed. Im writing this while still on the pontoon. Will probably be back if life allows
We stayed at Missing Hill Resort from Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22. We fell in love! We loved our cozy little cabin. The cabin was clean, well supplied with anything you would need in the kitchen (minus the food HA), the bathroom, cable with more than just the 10ish basic channels, extra bedding so you can lay under a blanket with a chill from a sunburn, ice and bait at the marina...it was all great! A husband and wife own and run the place. We never met the wife face-to-face but I spoke with her on the phone quite a few times. She was very nice and very helpful. We did meet the husband quite a few times and he couldn't have been more pleasant and more accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure our trip was wonderful!
If you're looking for a fancy place, 5 star upscale, spotless resort...pass. But if you're looking for the perfect nook in the woods, that's right on the river with accommodations that are perfect for a family trip...this is your place. We'll go back every single time!
Fantastic place to stay. We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute. One day we rented a pontoon boat and another day we rented a fishing boat. Cabins were nice and clean. The owners were very accommodating. Very good prices on cabin and boat rentals. We will definitely be vacationing here again.
We have rented space for our 5th wheel trailer for many years. Great family place. Recommend renting a cabin and spending some time with nature.
