Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of trees, which is nice to keep the a/c from running alot. No on-site pool. Wouldn't recommend swimming in this part of the river from the banks. According to the kiddos, the WI-FI was not good. It was good to relax before another hard week

Super friendly staff, check in was easy and quick. The camp spot was a little small and there’s tons of traffic. Most of the campers are long term or residents of the park. There’s some pretty run down looking rvs and areas of the park. Overall, the kids enjoyed it and the water park. Not the best place to go to relax but it was a fun experience.

Was not impressed at all with this park. I have always heard that Point Mallard Park is the place to park your RV. It was a letdown to say the least. RV's lined up like sardines. Not much privacy. Some dumpy looking, the grounds were horrible. I did not interact with the staff because I knew as soon as I saw it, I would not be parking there. Totally shocked. I guess the park piggyback off the name because ghetto fabulous could not even describe it.

No point in calling or going to book for memorial day! They started handing out papers for a spot at 6 30 am. We were told to get there or call at 8 am they didn't let anyone book early and it was forst come firdt serve. We drove out from union grove there. Then we get there and we got the last 2 sheets available for fill out they passed out. There was about 50 sheets handed out. They turned anyone else away and said nothing else available. Then they call you in to pay for booking. By the time they got to numbers 39 or 40 we were turned away and told all spots were booked. They should not cpuntinue handing out papers if they can not accommodate those spots. They dont let you book multiple spots and its one per sheet so this should not of happened .First person camped out starting at 1 am. We talked to a guy who was number 30 and ge got there at 6 30 when they started handing them out. There was absolutely no fair chances for anyone who got there close to time or at time they told you to be there. Also believe they gave spots to friends or family or chose who they wanted to have the other because even on the sheet it says there are 50 spots. Yet they didn't call all of us. The communication is terrible. Awful management. Not friendly or nice in regards to the situation either. If you can talk to the staff to get the correct information and protocol who do you talk to.
