Great place to camp. There's somewhat of a small park for kids to play and plenty of room for them to run around. Quiet and peaceful. People are very friendly around there as well.
The park at the end of the road has a nice boat launch to put boats in on the Alabama River. The ferry is parked there, but I've never seen it operate and not sure if it is still in service. There is also marked hiking trails and plenty of parking.
