Hidden Treasure of a Hike. Not too strenuous - moderate hike.

There may or may not be water in the two streams - the second being more of a river/riverbed.

When the water is high, the trail can be a little difficult to follow; however you will it eventually down-stream.

Wonderful afternoon walk far from the crowds of Sabino Canyon!

Great hike! Dog friendly. We went mid-January and passed through 2 water streams. After the second water stream, the trail narrows...so if you have a pup, just keep an eye as there is a lot of cacti. So many great views and photo opportunities. You do have to park on the side of the road and walk about a half a mile to get to the trailhead....definitely worth the hike!
