So cool to climb around. But all you people stay away because you'll just ruin it
A great place to visit in the middle of the desert. The formations are intriguing and the bench was comfortable in the shade with the breeze.
A fun drive out . Once we got there we climbed up. The hill right before you get there is steep and hard to see over at the top. We got out for the view and drove the rest of the way down to the needle.
A slightly challenging hike, only 4.5 miles round trip from highway 95. Definitely worth your time, the views are amazing. Take water, would recommend not going alone. Several places that require scrambling up some rock, often hiking on loose gravel. Plan on 3 hours and enjoy the experience.
This is a great sight to see! We came by Jeep. I don't know if there is a "car friendly" to get here or not, so drive a Jeep!
Short hike from the "road" to the base of
the rock. Climbing up the rock to the hole is pretty easy as well. Great views in all directions!
Highly recommended
