Tent camping review.

The not-so-good... Not the best environment for sleeping. The site was sizable, BUT the area for the tent is mowed down weeds and fox tails. Not very soft. The mosquitoes were really bad. There's a train. You can hear the interstate. And good luck sleeping past 5am with all the dogs, birds, and noises. There's no grass on the property, it's all dirt and gravel. Between the fox tails and concrete "dog park", we're glad we didn't have our dog on this trip.

There were good points... Free use of the laundry room. Clean bathrooms with plenty of stalls and sinks. Showers were nice as well. Standard for an RV park I'd say.

If I were to do it all again, I would pay the extra $20 for a site across the street at the state park.

We love this low key campground. It's good for adulting as there is no grass and plenty of peace. Showers are clean.

stay away from this RV park, icamp! if I could give it a - 5 that would be kind. Personally, I think this RV park should lose their Goodsam privilege. The reason for this is due to the lack of professionalism of their staff. Due to a severe storm, we were parked beside a huge tree that was banging into our RV. My wife and I made the decision to move to a RV spot that did not have any trees in the morning the RV park manager came over and told us we had no right to move out notifying them. The gentleman explained what would happen if someone had booked this spot they would not be able to take it because we were in that spot now. Let me clarify this there were over 20 spaces available. Should the person that rented the spot we would’ve been happy to move to another safe location. This was all about safety due to the severity of the storm. The lack of professionalism from this gentleman was absolutely disgusting. This man berated my wife and kept telling her I don’t care you should’ve called us, but the problem was it was after midnight. I feel that the gentleman should’ve responded in a professional manner saying I’m glad you’re OK but he did not. He continued to tell my wife that we were lucky he did not charge us for two spots. I intend to write a letter to good Sam and advise them to revoke this RV park credentials to represent Goodsam. I cannot stress enough to stay away from this RV park in Green River as there are two other choices the state park, which is impeccable or Shady acres. I do not understand how this place got a five star rating.

I had the privilege of interacting with three staff members and all of them were amazing. I was assigned a campsite , but told that I could choose a different one if I didn’t like where they put me. The site they gave me was perfect , with privacy and shade. My closest neighbors were way on the other side of the property. I pre-purchased a bundle of firewood but I had no room for it on my motorcycle when I checked in because all of my camping gear was still on my bike. The woman who checked me in delivered the wood right to my campsite so I wouldn’t have to go back to get it after unloading my bike. The laundry facilities were perfect and the hot showers and bathrooms were clean. One of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had.

If you’re looking for a no frills campground / RV park, this one is good.

It’s fairly quiet however the location is close to the train tracks so you’ll probably hear the train throughout the night.

Lynette was very friendly and super accommodating for us. We booked with the hopes of possibly extending if needed and she found us a site which would work so we didn’t have to move half way through our stay.

They have clean bathrooms with free showers and free laundry and free WIFI.

There is a dog run that is only a fenced in area with gravel and concrete. I can not call it a Dog Park tho.

Green River in general doesn’t have much to offer, but they do have a couple good restaurants and down the road there is Swasey’s Beach that’s great for the dogs. They can run and swim and be off-leash. Moab isn’t too fair away either.

All in all we had a good experience.
